Savanna is one of the newest additions to our herd
and we are extremely excited about this big
Windermere King Cong daughter. The bottom side of
this mare's pedigree is just as strong as she is an
own daughter of the renowned Bittersweet Cheri
Dragano. Savanna is a big, broody mare with an
exceptional foot and a substantial amount of clean,
flat bone. We are excited about showing this mare in
halter this summer and using her in the driving classes
as well.

Patti Lou is a mare we purchased in 2008 along
with her filly, Emmy Lou, who is by World Champion
Windermere's Inferno. We had a good year with
Patti Lou this past show season. She was 1st, Sr.,
Gr., and Supreme Champion of the Maritime Fall Fair
in Halifax. Patti Lou is a big mare standing over 18
hands and she has a huge foot to go along with it.
She is quite differently bred than a lot of the mares
out there today and her bloodlines are a good
representation of some old, quality breeding horses,
both American and Canadian. This mare's size is
explained by the occurrence of Panther Valley
Donald, a large, good footed stallion, and her quality
can be attributed in part to her grandsire, Highview
Dragano. She is also line bred with Innishugh Duke,
a horse who influenced many successful breeding
programs of the past.

Leah is a daughter of our good cart mare
Eyebright's Jody. She is a great tempered mare
and we enjoyed exhibiting her at a few fairs this
summer. She was first in the three year old mare
class at the Lawrencetown Fair. We are looking
forward to using her to drive this year. We will be
breeding her to Windermere's In Command.
